What a Grade 2 Guide May Include

  1. Learning goal: what the student will understand or be able to do.
  2. Clear lesson: a direct explanation using grade-appropriate language.
  3. Examples: worked or modelled applications of the concept.
  4. Practice: guided questions followed by independent work.
  5. Review: lesson checks, unit review, and cumulative practice.
